LINEAGE II: THE CHAOTIC CHRONICAL GAME AND TIME CARD (WIN XP)
REVIEW
Is it worth the time and money? Im looking at the monthly online billing and it cost 14.95...this is only if you do it each month. That card is for 60days which is two months. The price after shipping is 32.97 ...unless you go super saver but then you dont get the card for 2weeks or more. But this will only save you .91, not even a dollar, whats the point of these cards. Though i do have to say that amazon is the only one that has put it at a lowered price so kudos to them, because you actually can save that 91cents if you wanted.

overpriced? Used it to play CoH/CoV, but ever since these came out, they got rid of the independent cards, for every game. I'm guessing that's why the price went up. No point of ordering it off of Amazon, it goes $30+ WITH a waiting period, not worth it. I rather just go to the site and order monthly for $15 rather than paying more. I think I will wait until Amazon decides to drop the price to $21 again, that was a good deal.

Enter a world of intrigue and deception as you fight for the control of castles, fend off majestic beasts, and plot to conquer formidable rival alliances for rule of Aden. Lineage II is an epic adventure focused on player-versus-player interaction in a large and seamless world. Experience the drama and excitement of battling other players in realtime to storm a massive castle. Rally your clan, plan a strategy, and finally lay siege. If you're talented enough to take a castle, you can collect taxes and appoint leaders. But most importantly, keep watch for others coming over the horizon to try their hand at taking away your power base.

Its good or bad...depending on whether you accept the game for what it was designed for Lineage 2...it really depends. If you're looking for a game that's going to provide you with another way to live your life, tons of ways to waste time, etc etc then Lineage probably isn't it. In short, Lineage is an action rpg of MMORPGs. The game is about the action. Your quests...are usually to kill things. The crafting you do...is to create more weapons and armor. You will spend a great deal of time just killing everything you see, and as many have noted the game is geared for open PvP, not as an add-on, but as a key element.
When you consider all this, thats where my review title comes in. You'll probably notice if you truly play a lot of ORPGs (i.e. more than just the american ones) that the asian ones, except for the japanese ones, tend to focus a lot on the action and PvP. well....that's lineage right there. yeah the game can be a big grind, yea the quests aren't going to have you doing much more than kill a lot of things. What about "the game is all about the action" is so hard to understand??? kidding. the point is it would seem a lot of the more mainstream MMORPG players in the US at least don't really like this design. thats not good or bad, just the way it is. If you're like that, if you're expected something that you can cook, and fish, and do all that stuff other than fight, then yeah, Lineage probably isn't for you. If you're the type that wants to fight, fight lots, and fight other players; its more than Lineage 2 "might appeal more to you". Frankly, Lineage 2 was MADE for you. The "action MMORPGer" is the audience Lineage targets and no other. Its really as simple as that.
My personal opinion is its pretty good. but y'know what??? i like Guild Wars...i think RYL has potential (when most western reviewers gave it horrid reviews). point is, that game style doesn't bug me.
